Corsair H105 in a HAF X case?

An online search yielded a single pic, albeit a bad one so I'm not all that convinced yet:

Has anyone successfully managed to mount a Corsair H105 in a HAF X case in push configuration and with the large case top fans still on? I intend to use those as the pull fans.

Bit worried the screws of the AIO cooler will touch the case top fans.

If no one has I'll give it a go and might be able to remove the top fans and install pull fans on the rad instead - should fit with an Asus Maximus VIII Hero.

TBH mate, I'm thinking your best bet will be to remove the case top fans and put your pull fans on the rad. I've never worked in a HAF X, but I just came out of a HAF 912 and you would've had to do it that way in the 912. Of course, I'm also led to believe that in the 912 you wouldn't have been able to do push/pull on the top so I'm not sure what the clearance differences are between the 2 cases.

Just my opinions.

Youre mental if you leave the 200mm fan on..... Was there not enough info in our reviews even if you are blind and have no form of OCD?

That's exactly what I'm gonna do; remove the top case fans and set up a push/pull configuration with the rad.

I've re-watch the video tonight, and meanwhile I'm wondering how to connect the four fans. Was thinking the pump to the water pump header on the Maximus VIII Hero and see how that goes, the y cable for the push fans on the CPU optional or CPU fan header, and the pull fans to?? I only have chassis headers left. That can't be wise. Alternatively I can simply keep it push; you showed some nice temps in your review that way, Tom.

The case plus the rad will have 6 fans in total, the board has 6 headers + 1 water pump header.
