Corsair H100 and Cooler Master Cosmos II

Hi All:

I am looking for some advice on installing the H100.

The CII has room for two fans on top, outsdie of the motherboard chamber. Can I install the radiator inside (like the directions show) and the fans on the top part of the CII.

I am asking because I am not sure if the fan mounting needs to be in direct contact with the radiator, or can there be a little space because of moving the fans on top. (less than 1/16 inch)

Thanks in advance

That configuration will work fine, just make sure the fans are pulling air through, I will be using the same set up on my 600t.

Thanks, that is what I was going to do...have the fans pull the air in the case through the radiator, as exhaust. However, I was reading on the Cosair forum that pushing cooler air from the outside is almost always better for cooling. The comparison is a car radiator uses outside air to cool.

that's true but u won't see major temps differences.

try both installations and c for yourself

the little gap isn't a problem

i installed mine with the radiator on the inside and the fans mounted on the other side of the roof on top

so from what i can tell ur going to do the same setup

works like a peach , so no worries
