corsair 620 and HAF-X

would my 24pin power connector on my PSU would it reach? or do i have to buy extensions? same goes to the 4pin on the motherboard. as im gonna change my NZXT tempest with the haf-x extra cooling.

Would think the 24pin will but may depend on which way up the PSU in installed. Don't think the 4/6 pin will but the case comes with extension. see case manual http://www.coolermaster.com/download.php?action=ViewDownload&id=575

May look better if you buy the NZXT extension's cables any way

nice thanks...my PSU has a 4pin cpu connector and the nzxt one has a 8pin one end..and 2X4 mobo connector..can i still use the extensions with me corsair 620?

I have a Corsair 620 in a PC at home with an NZXT 8 pin extension so i can run the cable behind MB/MB tray. The connector at the MB can be split into 2 x 4.

Does you MB have a single 4 pin socket or an eight with 4 covered by a small plastic cover?

the mobo is just a 4pin...my PSU has only a 4pin connector.....

There are many answers and there is also the following;

Our power supplies ship with an 8-pin connector that splits in half. Use half of this connector for the 4-pin EPS/ATX 12v connector on your motherboard.

(you may need to look for a dedicated 4 pin extension cable).

well not a good pic but thats my connector a 4 pin and my mobo is also a 4pin not 8pin.. well the thing is im confused..one end is a 8 pin on the extension where doies that connect to? as my connector for my mobo is a 4pin not 8.
