Coolants

What do you guys suggest for coolants? Distilled water + kill coil and maybe pt nuke? I'm not sure if I should go clear tubing and red coolant or red tubing and water. Also are there any coolants that don't stain in 1 year of use? This mainly affects what reservoir I'll buy since I won't get a 250 ml reservoir if its just going to be water. Thank you in advance!

I use Mayhems X1.

As long as it's not Aurora or Pastel you should be alright.

Plus, the coolants already have kill coil and stuff in them, so you won't need to worry about that

Aye theres a lot of problems with Mayhems stuff atm.

Even if its not their problem, its the hoses fault or you didnt flush it properly.


Just go back to good old feser or XSPC fluid and youll be fine. Even Ive gone back to XSPC and its what Ill be recommending in future.

I have a Mayhems Pastel Black, in my rig for over 2 months now and for now I don't have the same problems with it as Tom had, but I will anyway go back soon to normal coolant like X1, or similar stuff.

Toms black pastel in orca went dark red for some batshit reason.

I had black pastel which just looked grey after a week because the tubing didn't like it.

Apparently only primochill advanced lrt and tygon e1000 plasticiser free are any good with it. Oh, lots of people vouch for xspc clearflex too.

Problem with it I only used tygon e1000 tube
But with my new rig I'm using crystal link
Hope there won't be any problem with it

By crystal links do you mean the little bitspower crystal links?

They are fine with pastel because they are just acrylic like reservoirs, mine stayed perfectly clear with pastel when I had it.

I'm using specialtech tubing, and everything working fine with mayhems pastel black.

Going to try some Phobya zuperzero premix fluid with Nalgene typ 180 7/16ID hose,hope itll stay clear.

demin water and liquid utopia has always been good for me.
yep stay away from mayhems, sure it looks the tits but its a real pain to try and flush out of a system if you change your mind.
