That's a start into the premium boards. Will you be using Lucid Virtu, the extra eSATA and onboard Marvell controller for the 2 extra SATA ports? Great board though.
Hmm I suppose not, just trying to future proof myself a little I guess, unless the ga-z68xp-ud3 or Asus p8z68-v le would still offer decent future proofing and still allow me to overclock to 4.5~ghz and keep it stable

Yup, you'll be able to OC up to or over 4.5GHz with no problems. If you're going to use the Intel Smart Response Technology, which is using SSD as a cache for your regular hard drive, that would be one of the major advantages of the Z68 over the P67. You're still able to do SLI or Crossfire the same way for both P67 or Z68.
You know the Z68 is great if you don't want to spend a fortune on a 120GB+ SSD yet, but still want some performance gain. A perfect combo would be something like a WD 1TB Black for the OS with a 30 - 60GB SSD as the cache. That way you can partition your 1TB into different storage spaces for your content. It saves having to do a real RAID setup or spending extra on something like the HDD Boost that Silverstone has on top of your SSD and hard drive. I guess it really depends on what you want and need from your motherboard. You're very welcome.
