ok ok , yea that chip makes me wanna have wet dreams about it. But we still have to see amd's next offering. But conroe would be GREAT if it has good mobo support. Something that dothan always lacked.

But the coming year should be fun to watch.

Interesting read tbh , i cant really believe such a company ( Intel ) would cheat like this but he has a point or two with the cpu being unknown i also wonder that as much as i know regardless speed in ghz processor name still remains same on A64's and onwards. If all of this is true i think Intel will have some explaining to do dont u think ?

Maybe we should start comparing AMD systems results with already done benchmarks on other processors or similar stats at least that would give us close figures to make sure .

For some reason i dont think it will end there i could understand if these tests or benchmarks are done in Intel's test labs by an Intel employee and leaked some how , but inviting well known reviewers and cheating like that ( supposed they did ) would cause a lawsuit perhaps.

At least it would be misleading information , misleading advertising ( e.g conroe better 20% 40% ) or trying to harm AMD.

I've seen 3rd party benchmark results straight from japan for yonah and its unbelievable. Conroe is the same architecture as tonah afaik so its bound to still be an amd killer.
