Choose a micro sd

Hello everyone, recently I have bought a QX10 sony camera, that little portable camera. I'm shooting videos for it for my YouTube channel.
Moving on, my doubt is if I have to use a high end micro sd for it. On one hand I have a 4Gb micro sd, maybe class 1 :D , on the other hand I have a 64Gb class 10 Samsung evo micro sd. Does anything change if I change them? It's important for me because I would like to use the 64Gb micro sd for my phone.

Sorry mate, I've edited the link out. Advertising your own yt channel isn't really acceptable :)

As for your question, I'm pretty sure basically any decent video camera needs Class 10 cards these days but tbf, you should be able to pick up a 32GB one for around a tenner if you look around (I paid €14 incl next day delivery for my 32GB Kingston Class 10 Micro SD-HC with SD adapter).

Well, I paid 23€ for 64Gb model, but what I wanted to know is if it makes any difference to the end result of the video.

Have you tried the 4GB card in there yet? Cause with video cameras there's a good chance that it just flat out won't work at all.

If it works, you can use it, but keep in mind that bandwidth will be limited. I don't know what sort of quality, file formats, resolution, etc that camera shoots in though. If it's at least semi-decent then you should really move up to a class 10 one.

I have been using it for quiete a while with the 4Gb sd and I haven't had any sort of problems. The camera shoots at 1080p. What I don't understand is how bandwith impacts the performance af a camera. I know that some 4k cameras use SSDs as memory drive, that overkill, but I don't get what will happen if they use a card like mine, the 64Gb one of course, the 4Gb will never work.
