Cheap agp board

I need a cheap, yet effective motherboard to house my agp 6600gt and a amd 64 3000+ 939 cpu. Its for a friend who wants to be able play games such as css it also needs to house my ide hard drive and have onboard sound.

Agreed. Although theres some cheap asus boards about if you dont want to overclock. *goes hunting*

Well that was short lived. I always thought they were a good board for peeps who wanted to upgrade gradually because they couldn't afford the huge layout of buying new board, new CPU and new video card all in one go.

An absolutely fantastic board for you to look for in this situation would be the EPoX EP-9NDA3I. An absolute smash for overclocking, rock solid, and dirt cheap. I love EPoX, always have and always will, I used to run nothing but because they always produced OC's for AMD's that I couldn't touch with other higher end boards. It also doesn't run any crapp VIA or ULi chipset, it runs the nf3 250 chipset so u know it's good for clockin'.

In the states it can be had for about $60 which is about ~30gbp.
