Card Advice Please

Hi all,

Currently running Sli GTX 780Ti. Looking to change my monitor to the top of the line Acer Predator 34".

Would my cards be able to push it at max or would I need to also change cards?

How does say 1 GTX 980Ti compare with my Sli setup?

I used to have a comparison site bookmarked but its gone the way of the dodo.

Your cards should drive it fine and one 980ti is not as good as sli 780ti's

One 980ti is about as fast as both of your cards, especially at higher resolutions. That was why I got rid of my Titan Blacks in the end they just couldn't cut it and it was loads of heat and noise.

The biggest problem lately is SLI. Hardly anything new works with it.

I would say depends on the game itself, I had the monitor for a few days... Ran Battlefield 3 just fine with my 980Ti, about 100-150 FPS.

Although, I will never recommend the monitor to anyone... It is so faulty (unless you're one of the few lucky ones to get a healthy one), that the price just becomes more insane, when it's already way overpriced.

Coil whine (worse when going from the shipped 60/75Hz to the advertised 100Hz), bad backlit bleed and there are worse things on the net.

Nahh, not a monitor I'd really recommend... Would wait for another similar monitor in the future.

PS, I'm not telling you to not buy this monitor, but rather giving you a heads up on it.
