Not sure on topping up with anti-freeze, it is as simple as just fill up to the top with it?
It will have max marked in the res, fill it to that when cold.
You don't need to put anything else with it though?
Not if your putting a small amount in.
If you are draining the system fully, then mix it 50\50 with water.
Ahhh no I'm not draining it, just a top up ready for the cold weather.
We'll see how it goes lads, already filled it up 10mins ago now, didn't need much but its up to the max now.
That should do it.
While your in a maintenance mood, check the tyre pressures and oil level.
Do the oil level while its cold (the engine not weather wise).![]()
Tyres are fine, they were half of what they should have been last Friday but all good now.
Oil seems fine when I checked it a week ago, just the dip stick is different to what I learn't in so I was like huh it's nearly empty! But the level is on a wider part at the bottom of the stick. Its more like a sword actually and a real pain in the arse to get back in!
That is my favorite car that has ever been posted in this thread by a considerable margin, it is a phenomenal interior (sat in a '13 M6 and it made me do my happy face), my kind of colour too. Nice pic.

Very nice. I'm after a 3L M Sport myself.
You don't need to put anything else with it though?
Any model in particular, I could maybe help you in what to look for. I didn't want another 3 series, test drove a 420d, but that was after testing the 640d and I was er, smitten already. When researching, I was surprised to discover the 640d is actually a 3L, BMW diverting from their usual nomenclature.
I want a 4 door, no older than 2011 and satnav. I don't want anything bigger than my 318i.
Went to go replace the clutch line on the Skyline today, bolt is rounded like it never needs to come off ever again!!
Only supposed to take 30mins tops to do! wasted an entire afternoon trying to sort it, gonna have to pull the Master Cylinder out now....ugh!
