Car photos/discussion thread

That's good news! The rest are merely fleshwounds, you'll get her up and running in no time. ;) Good thing you found the rust there though. That's a strange place for rust to start -.-

Rust starts where it stays wet, after I bought the car, I discovered it wasn't as clean as I hoped as only half the car was under sealed and stuff, this just adds to the poor condition the car was kept in

No biggie though, my body shop said it's an easy fix take 6-7 hours worth of treatment which isn't too bad

So my GF managed to scratch her car pretty badly on a low wall in the dark - got it back from the body shop good as new on Thursday. She came to drive it to work this morning and some fucker has gone into the back of it and cracked the rear bumper whilst it was parked out front.

FFS!

:O You just called Wolf a retard!

Just because people are good looking, doesnt make them any less retarded!

NEVER EVER EVER, spray anything while its still attached to the car!

Its a $100k car, heck it could be on credit.

I agree with Kambo.

If i spent a 100K on a car, id want it to look like a 100K car all day long! which means have a professional do the spraying with lacquer etc make it look OEM as possible!

I would get that chassis checked before doing anything else.
Then the suspension alignment, if its hit hard enough to take a tyre off the rim my guess would be its bent.

That's what happened to that, it split at the headstock.

The rust all in a specific area looks like its been repaired before and not sealed.
Have a look under the strut brace at the turret tops, if they are ok, it sort of confirms the crashed theory.

You could put £££££ into repairing it.
What is it worth fully done ?

Its something I have done before and wouldn't do again.

I was running 215/35/18 Tyre on a 10J rim, they were gonna pop off!

Cars going on Wednesday to get checked for chassis damage, but it only went through a fence it would be have to made of on concrete to bend chassis, strut tops are fine, there isnt any visible rust on the car

If this is mint im talking show room, itll go for about £8000-£10000

Its getting rarer by the day!

Not to mention if it is running desirable wheels and some low that'll add an extra £3k atleast.

Yeah thats it, im on the search for some uber rare rims, but not a priority

Did you see the photos i put up?

Well I wish I could of afforded a 100k car at 21. :(

You can buy whatever you want at what ever age, just gotta want it bad enough!

to put it into perspective, im 26 the current company i work at been there 7 years, i could have bought if i had saved a £270,000 house cash....

But no....i like having a life, which means cars, girls, clothes, holidays, awesome cool custom pc's and food

Just a matter of compromise!

Of the rust n stuff? Yeah. Not that bad tbh. My MG had worse.

Operation buy a beemer hasn't worked out so well :(. The e30 I went to look at was quite nice until you looked under the boot...

Common issue, if you want a mint one, looking at atleast £5K

Come get the Skyline, itll be driving by Thursday ;)

Thanks but nothanks ;) and it depends on the bodyshape as to how much you have to spend to get a solid one. A solid estate can be £3k.

Over a month ago my old '05 320d M Sport started to give me issues after 7 years of trouble free motoring. So it was time to replace it. Now I considered selling my Esprit too and combining resources to scratch the V8 itch, but I resisted it and put my sensible head on, kind of :), and bought a 2012 BMW 640d M Sport in space grey with 20" wheels .

For a diesel it's performance is nice, 313hp, 0-62 in 5.3s, 3L twin turbo, 8 speed auto, 58mpg (yeah right, currently averaging 42mpg). It's probably the nicest interior I've sat in :). It is a big car, boat-ish you could say, but it drives so well and has an "un-diesel" sound to it when "making progress" :).

Mr Kambo, just catching up in this thread and saw your "incident", hope you get your car sorted! That "off" could have been much worse, but I'm sure you've played that through your mind many times already.

That is my favorite car that has ever been posted in this thread by a considerable margin, it is a phenomenal interior (sat in a '13 M6 and it made me do my happy face), my kind of colour too. Nice pic.
