That channel is amazing just been watching loads of them haha
My day has basically consisted of watching youtube videos from all the teams at gumball, i really want to go to Edinburgh to see the European start grid but i don't have the money, ill just find somebody who needs a kidney  Whats not fair is that my brother is coming back from his corsa meet and will probably get to see the gumballers. I hope i get the opportunity to see the gumball someday, the P1 mclaren looks mad, also there is an amazing ferrari gto.
You better start savin'you will go one day, I'm sure of it.
I want an Evo 8 or 9 now. My dream would be to own Skyline GTR R34 but I heard they are really expensive to maintain. Not sure if it's true.
Good choice if you get a R33, im not sure of the difference between the two, i love the car though.

Any of you guys have experience with rev limiters? Been thinking about getting one as I (absolutely) love the sound of them, my car is fully mechanical though, no ecus or anything, is it even possible to get one ?
You already have one, most likely a centrifugal governor. (if it truly is fully mechanical) No limiter would mean you'd be able to rev it till it self destructed. Modern ecu based rev limiters just cut out the fuel injectors until the rpm falls, which does exactly the same thing as the mechanical device. i.e. limit fuel supply when a certain rpm is hit.Any of you guys have experience with rev limiters? I've narrowed my choice to two now. R33 GTR or R33 GTSt. I would love an R34 GTR but a decent one is way out of my price range.
What are you wanting it for? Any kind of drifting and get the GTSt. Aything else, the GTR if you can afford it.
Just for fun really. Not really interested in drifting. I've had my 1.6 Astra for 6 years and it's about time I got a car that I can be proud of.
I'm going to go for the GTR as I love the RB26 engines. I will aim to get a stock one. If they still exist and probably replace the internals with forged ones in the future.
It's early days yet and I still have a lot of saving to do.
Easiest way to get a stock one is to import it from Japan. I see alot of nice stock gtrs going through auctions daily (I watch the auctions when I'm bored) which are in decent condition (example). Most companies can source and import one for you.
I spoke to one company from a Skyline owners forum about imports and they will happily do it for me, they've been doing it since 1992 and at the moment the yen is about 170 to the £ which supposedly is the highest it's been since 2008.
He's looking out for midnight purple R33 GTRs for a couple of his clients atm.
