I have a feeling thats the type of ford Tom likes as well . I do rather like those older fords. Its a shame they've basically became in the same league as 205 GTIs (i.e. either thrashed and cheap or expensive and pristine).

I'm somewhat of a blue oval fanatic, the missus has always been a XR2 nut while my dream machine is the 96' Escort Cosworth Lux with the T25 Small turbo must be Blue though.

Holy crap they've shot up in value. I've found this one for ~£15k .

it is real nice to look at but the one i am driving is terrible. the suspension doesnt know whether its hard or soft, the brakes are either squidgy or razor sharp, the autobox is slow not to say its a slow car it is rather nippy but the gearbo is just a little slow to shift. soundsystem good. interior quality good. im glad i return it later today.

Shame it wasn't the new Rangey :/. The interior on them looks spectacular.

the seat finish is lush the plastic colour on the dash is a little too grey but still the kit is good just a shame about the driving experience. the pads on the disco are costing a clean fortune. i cant wait for the new car to arrive in august. mums buying the discovery off me which leaves me free to get a tasty wee merc
