Ok so just as i left the gym, i was walking up to the car and god i love it!
I spent about 5 hours on it yesterday gave it a mini clean, it really needs a mop and wheels need a furb and honestly it needs to go to a body shop and have a full spray, there is lacquer peel on the bumper and a small 5p dent on the roof that needs filler.
Its completely standard, although me and the previous owner believe its mapped, when engage sport mode the car fucks off something chronic!

Those cars begged to be tuned and have a massive tuning culture so I wouldn't be surprised if it has been mapped/ecu swapped.

dw i know alot about the Z20 engines, i could tell you a 101 stories about a astra i built for my ex- brother in law, hell ive got pictures and a thread on the owners club somewhere!
This one is staying standard, ill get it on the rollers at some point, if its been mapped i wanna see the AFR

Dream first car, i could afford the car and the mods, just not sure how insurance is for a car like this. Most saloons are pretty expensive.

got my car back from the mechanic, it has some thorn bellows, leaky rear brakes and wheel cylinders.....
other than that, its some minor bits and bobs like the fan blower resistor that only works on full speed, will be visiting an electrician to make sure its the resistor before buying another one.
