hey guys, I have just become the proud owner of an MSI GTX570 Twin frozr III. but i cant adjust the Vcore on after burner. I have even redownloaded afterburner incase i was running and outdated version for my old GPU (GTX 275), but i still cant adjust the Vcore. i have gone to settings and checked the boxes for "unlock voltage control" and "unlock voltage monitoring". What am i missing? I am sure i have heard others here talk what their Vcore is/was at on their 500 series.

have I got to download a beta of Afterburner? if so, i tried that but the link didnt work on the After burner site

Thanx in advance

google after burner beta I think I had to get it from guru3d on my last install. as you said msi doesnt have a good link atm but you have to use the beta version to get voltages unlocked look for 2.2.0 beta 5

My 5870s have no voltage control either with the boxes checked, very annoying as I can't stabilise anything

thanx guys just found a bete from Guru as suggested, downloaded but thejn is say cant run After as some items are missing or corrputed, so I just re downloaded the original. TBH i can live without being able to adjust the volts, not as if it stopping me from overclocking

It is though, you need the volts to get the clocks stable

my understanding was/is you can overclock without adjusting the Vcore (as i did on my GTX 275), but being able to add more volts will allow you to overlock futher than if you stayed on stock volts

Thanx S_I_N, I will have a google for it, if you do have a link to hand (or if there is one one here) can you hook me up? cheerz

I didn't mean there was a limit on the slider or anything, I meant what you just said ^
