Can i Rma that card? 680 Twin Frozr

Thx all for help and answers. I am more patient now. Cheers from Poland:)

update/
I am using 1440x900 ( because of old monitor ) And i have that 70-72 C temps in games. Its not too high temps for that resolution? if i buy new monitor then temps will be higher on higher res? If yes, how much temps will be raised?

I want to be sure that my temps are ok on my 1440x900 resolution.

Low resolution doesn't mean the card isn't working hard, what is your GPU usage like?

Use GPUz, Afterburner, etc.

Bear in mind that the maximum working temp (or TDP) of most GPUs is around 96-100 C, so 70 C gives a lot of room. As the temp goes up beyond a certain point, the fan speed should increase to keep it cooler.

To litwicki24 , Are you getting those temps at 80% - 100% fan speed ?
If not you might try to adjust your fan profile a bit.

I have fan speed default , so its 30 % i guess.

On default fan speed, and default clocks i have max 70-72 C temps.

Its too high for res 1440 900?

My 680's in sli at 1920x1080 maxing all games out or benching hit around 85c with the fans on auto, and that's the stock fans no custom cooler.

As has been said 70c is nothing to worry about at all, but if you think it's that much of a issue then ramp up the fan speed or watercool the card.

You can allways download Afterburner and make your own temps / fan speed profile there as well: http://event.msi.com/vga/afterburner/
I do this standard on every rig i built because i simply don't mind some extra fan noise from the GPU.
I sure do not like how stock settings let it hit 80 degrees tho, specially since thats not a must for most GPU's to be silent really?

I ended up with a graph like this:

Last question. I have a log from Crysis 3 . I have 70C with 55% fan speed ( auto ). Its ok with that fan speed or no? Here is the screen:

That's absolutely fine mate. Like said many, many times before 70 degrees is nothing to worry about and that is proven by the fact that your fans only spin at 55%. If your GPU would think it was too hot, it would make the fans work harder. Crysis 3 can be a demanding game, mate :)

My Gpu (6950 +125mhz overclock) is running on 80-83 degrees when i loop valley for 2 hours. I have set my overclock so, that it NEVER goes above 85° but that is just my personal limit. I would not recommend going above 80 for a normal use case.

Dude, you've asked it here and on PureOC, and surely on other forums too, and we've all given you the same answer :p
Please just enjoy your card, 70 degrees is fine, and 55% fanspeed is low :p

LOL, I've been running my 6850 with a massive overclock/overvolt @90 degrees to keep it quiet for about 2 years now, still going strong as ever :)
