How long till games just arrive on an SSD? (that's actually a pretty good idea)
Imagine if you could download games from the Internet and install without physical media!
Call of Duty: Ghosts™
Now with the newest breakthroughs in DRM technology. We are dedicating 3GB of RAM solely to monitoring every other thread that is running with Call of Duty™, this does not only enable us to identify software pirates of Call of Duty™ games, but will also enable us to find any piece of pirated software on the system of criminals! (it may also help to detect cheaters)
In addition to this, we have programmed a hdd scanner with the latest advancements in heuristic fuzzy pattern matching algorithms to detect any programs that weren't authorized to be on the same computer as Call of Duty: Ghosts™. Including malicious software such as "Stuxnet", "CryptoLocker" and "Battlefield 4". To reliably detect such malicious software, extensive programming patterns with a combined size of about 20GB must be stored together with Call of Duty: Ghosts™ to enable its full potential.
Honestly, I was waiting for them to arrive on USB instead of discs...
If they make it quick USBs, we can play straight off them![]()
Let's face it, they'd be super cheap about it and for decent performance people would copy their games to their own SSDs.Imagine that you still need the space anyway so it came on something that only needed plugging in.
Roll on the Cartridge days again woo!
Dude that post was a sarcasm postthis will be a kick in the nuts for all those thousands/millions maybe of people that use a windows activator and cracked AV programs.

The PC version of Call of Duty: Ghosts is set to be one of the best Call of Duty experiences ever. To make sure that your PC is ready to go on November 5, here are the minimum system requirements:

I don't /hate/ it either. It's just that I've played the series from the start (Call of Duty 2, got 1+United Offensive two weeks later). It kind of sucks to watch it go downhill, as I really used to enjoy them.
Guess that's why I always kept buying them. I loved every CoD up til 5. Hated MW2, enjoyed Blops. Don't even know why I got MW3 but I didn't like that either. Blops II was alright but nothing we hadn't seen before.
I own most Call of Duty titles, with the exeptions of 'Big Red One' and 'Finest Hour'
but Ghost will be the first one that I'm not getting unless it ends up in some Steam Sale / Humble Bundle for €10,- or something, which will probably never happen![]()
The specs do look abit stupid but since it's still using the same old engine just tweaked, I think people who don't have 6Gb of ram will be fine.
I have pre-ordered the Digital Hardened Edition of this, this afternoon.
I have played every single Call Of Duty game, and I really enjoy playing them regardless of what platform however I do play now only on the PC because it's where, I have been playing games since I started playing games around 18 years ago.
The first COD game where I actually gave up playing is Black Op's 2 because of the Lag Comp, where the higher the ping you have the better you can play and the constant 50ms+ ping regardless of what connection speed you have, and how little jitter you have.
I have the week of work when Ghost's is released because I will be getting my pc ready for the lan, I am going to in November and also swapping my fans over on my rads to the new ones I have bought.
I will post a video here on the release day once it's downloaded as it shouldn't take to long to download, if I run my ClearOS router and throw all the modems on to it in the house (4x 120Mb).

I'm not sure if I'm be buying, I bought cod 4, mw3, bo2 so unless the change is massive I think I'm be leaving alone.
