Nice summary man, brings back memories! I think I was the only person in the world that didn't have any issues with me...?
Thanks fella, so it's now 30 years "today" for our beloved Windows OS which has flown to be honest, the thing that amazes me are the System Requirements and how fast it advanced and how much you can see Moores law in the advancement.

It's great to look back over the years, even better to actually have a go at using Windows 1.0 again :) I've found a fully functional version of Win 1.0 >>HERE<< within a web browser.

Personally I've found 8.1 to be the best windows OS I've ever had. Probably because of startisback making it like a slightly cleaner version of 7. Oh, and that it has much better boot times and isn't so bad with multicore CPUS.

I was quite fond of windows 2000 since it was so solid and i am still the kind of person that would like less preinstalled stuff any day of the week on any device.

I liked win 98 se to, it was decent. Windows XP, i think has a soft spot for most of us, it did last a very long time and prettymuch helped us drag through the mud that was called vista and dropped us at windows 7, which i think is still the best OS microsoft have released.

However, i will never forget windows 95 and it amazing ability to create the best IRQ problems, my all time favorite was The PC Speaker having a IRQ conflict with a SCSI controller, i mean WHAT!? just how the hell that was possible i have no idea, but when i read the error it gave me i burst out laughing, brilliant.
