I need a budget cooler to cool my q9400 which overclocks so easy! just need a better heatsink to cool it. i need something under 50$ that does an EXCELLENT job! i was looking into the coolermaster hyper212 plus and just put 2 70cfm fans like the enermax magma for full load.

any tips,ideas and suggestions? :/

arctic cooling have some cheap, good coolers also like this?

My vote goes for the Mugen2 r.B, top budget cooler. Cant say for corsair cause I havent read any reviews of ther coolers.

I had a "budget cooler" on my i5 750 and its pretty darn good , its the Coolermaster TX3 (push pull tho)

I still have a TX3 in a box around here somewhere, got sick of the high temps I got with it so I bought the Mega Shadow

To be fair though for €15 it wasn't bad.

I had a Cooler Master Hyper N520, It was excellent for cooling considering I have my processor Overclocked to 5.85 GHz. But It can be very irritating in terms of sound. It just gives off a moderate pitch noise when on 100%, too loud for me in my M59 case. But If you have a silent case or something large I recommend it. It does it's job. I'm just very anal when It comes to noise.

There it is down there.

i dont mind noise when im gaming. i run delta fans in my case and it sounds like its lift off. lol.

i got a cheap(15us dollars xmas sale) hyper 212+ which if you are doing no overclocking or run 950 at 3.8ghz is fine but im going to upgrade to noctua d14 but everybody above me knows a lot more so yeah lol.

For budget cooling [font=Verdana, sans-serif, FreeSans]Mugen2 r.B or Coolermaster Hyper 212+. both are fantastic

I've just found the 212 quiet. It has a flat base instead of the HDT the 212 plus has. Looks like the fan on the quiet is better as well. I wonder which of the two are the better ... Might have to get it and test as I have the 212 plus!
