Brooksies little project

Just some holes for cable management and maybe a window.

Fan controller, braiding and 8pin extension came today, fans tomorrow.

I have no access to a dremel so me and my mate tried today on my old crappy x-blade (sorry tox :() but he had wooden hole drill bits, it worked sorta :p. But he's asking his dad if he has any metal hole saw.

Oh, and I also got the Thermalright 120, not the extreme, wont make much difference. Paid £20 for it :)

Will be installing hardware tomorrow, But today i've sleeved all of the fan cables:



Nice can of pussy to help along the way :)



I then plugged it all into a spare PSU and powered up the fan controller and fans :)



OC3D grill looks cool :D



It'll look better when it's dark ;)
 
wow were did you got the OC3d grills? its pretty cool :D

and the sleeving is looking pretty good, you removed the conector from the cable or sleeved with it on its place? (i wonder if its possible since im not good at remembering the cables original positions :rolleyes: but that can be solved with a writen tape i think lol); anyways looking pretty good.

Loving the red fans :) The fan controller doesn't really seem to fit in though.

If you want an OC3D grill I think TTL is able to get you one ;) It's a fairly simple CAD design and cut length shouldn't be too long either.

because the fans are red and the controller is blue?

Yeah, because of the colour. The material too, the plexi just doesn't seem to fit in with the metal/plastic.

I'm going to give the CAD a try. Might just drop TTL a small order for a 5.25" watercut bezel :')
