Just checkin to see if anyone is getting Brink. Got mine pre-ordered from Amazon £27 delivered and you get the Psycho setup unlocked. Think it's a bit like TF2, but way btr and making parkour a major factor if you choose a lighter character.

I'm thinking of getting it for xbox as I already know a few people getting it also.. but it looks amazing!... If I like it I may also get it for the PC

Looks awesome, probably going to get it but promised myself not until after my exams, less than a week to go.

I should get it. GameTrailers.com gave it an average score and I heard IGN didn't love it. I heard summin like the campaign is almost identicle to multiplayer, I didn't hear well and it's summin like that. It'll be a month-ish when I consider buying because now I can't afford it

Staying away from it. Anything viral usually just lets me down. I'd have said the same thing about Borderlands, but I wasn't around to see them advertising their own game on chans and forums, so I never bought into that hype.

Not yet but got it on my maybe list. I did pick up a couple older games to play on my new OC3D rig when I get it.

Picked up Crysis Warhead, and Splinter Cell Conviction. Have a copy of Portal 2 on the way. Also won a steam copy of Metro 2033 the other day on another site. So have that waiting to go as well.

I have been looking at the brink developer videos and looks like the game is going to have a lot of cool new stuff like more realistic movement abilities such as being able to climb over and slide under stuff like tables and walls. They mentioned how in many games there will be a tall table but you try to crawl under and get the invisible wall, or how you are supposed to be a super soldier but can not climb over a 4 foot wall because the game developer did not code that in.

They said brink is supposed to fix this kind of stuff. Along with seamless single player to multiplayer gameplay. Not sure how that works. Will have to wait till its out and you guys give some real world reviews.

Bought it after i heard one gaming community saying good things about it (And ofc some flaming how bad it is, propably even without giving it a try). Don't regret it even that im running it on 30 fps due to outdated system. I strongly recommend!
