Bloody Iphone OS4

Yeah, got mine on the 24th too but didn't have to queue.

I can't get my phone to have the signal problems others are having by bridging the two antennas in the bottom left corner.

Tesco are doing a amazing deal atm

12 month contract at £35/pm

phone is £229

750 minutes

unlimited texts

out of stock though :(

Doesn't really help in US. :P AT&T is doing a deal that if your contract ends in 2010 you can just sign onto another 2 years and get the full discount of $199 for the smaller one. My contract ends Jan 4th so I'm gunna see if I can talk them into giving the discount to me anyway. :)

Wow, some of you guys, it's just a phone. An expensive one at that.

Anyone noticed the lack of 12 month contracts on networks now? Pretty frustrating, and a lot of the 18 month deals are nowhere near as good as a year ago. The recession must have hit these companies hard.

it is becouse 12month conttract are being fased out and 18month are becoming the norm and 24month being the highest

this happend before the recession

Really? When I got a contract a year ago (with 3), they still had some available, now they're all gone. I'm tempted to keep my handset as it's in perfect nick and is a decent one (Nokia E71) and just get a sim-only deal. I'd like a new phone (would love to have a play with an Android handset) but there's nothing good at the £20 mark any more when there used to be. Also, those awesome cashback deals you used to be able to get have all disappeared, shame.

yer like i said there being fazed out,18month is the new 12month and 24month is the new 18month.

i was just saying they starting fazing 12month out before the recession.

some sim only deals are good if like you have a decent phone already,20PM nowadays wont get you anything decent

you need between 35PM-45PM to get anything decent

like a IPHONE or some top end HTC

Indeed, it does seem that way. E71 does me fine anyway, always nice to have a new gadget though. Getting too used to having an upgrade at the end of a contract instead of a downgrade I guess! I can't justify more than £25ppm on communication anyway, I just don't use the phone enough (and I don't even have a landline either!). It seems that every year there's less and less reason to call people and more to do things online/email etc. With phones having internet access now that's even more the case.

I would like to stay with 3 as they've been fairly good for me over the last 3 years or so, but I feel no loyalty if there's a better deal somewhere else. They don't seem to want my business much, and have priced a lot of tariffs beyond my consideration, or for longer than I am willing to commit. Up to them, but I can't be alone.

there is always the idea of buying 2nd hand phones but of course for decent ones they are expensive

unless you think of 25pmX18 lol

CEX have some decent phones sometimes and also the market stalls (can be dodgy but hey ho) and ebay and loot

it just depends if you wanna take the risk,CEX aint that bad tho nither is cashconverters and places like that

i have seen phillips 7 series tv's (top end) go for £500 in cashconverters it was mint aswell.

just goes to show the re-sale value, plenty of phones in ther to
