Very clean build, gotta love the prodigy!

It's actually a Phenom! Same internals as the Prodigy, but the outside is a lot cleaner.

That is fine mate, i know the feeling right now. My head is going insane on the same problem, but i have 2400 mhz in my pc and they a NOT cheap :/

I also need to make a big update to my post, but the rig is down right now. Had some problem whit the board, so it has been send back to Gigabyte and i'm on a hold right now. Hope they get back to me fast, but have also think og getting the blackboard from Gigabyte Z97 range and use my CPU from the Z87 board i have.

RAM prices have gone up a bit lately, and you have Dom Plats too, so they are even more expensive. What is that? £80? :s

Bugger about the board. What was wrong with it?

Personally, I want 1440p/4k screen some time in the future (€20 difference, somehow). Gaaaah, I want so many things but it's all expensive :lol:

You already (hopefully) got my PM Feronix, so should know about my upcoming upgrades ... but for those who ain't, upgrading to MSI Z97M-G43 and i7 4790K, and eventually another 16GB of RAM, for a total of 32GB of Corsair Vengenace Pro porn (sorry for a little hijack here Feronix bro, wasn't meant to... but as you 2 started a bit above, I thought I would make a little appereance on the show as well ... hope that the host didn't get too pissed off).

PS, you know you can always edit my post if you feel like I've broken anything or so... no worries from my part mate

Nah, honest mistake really, I don't think I really showed the outside of the case and they do have the exact same internals

Yeah, it's beautiful RAM tbh. The stock photo's don't do it justice. Definitely have that wow-factor going on haha.

Thanks so much mate, I appreciate it. Definitely a great moment for me as a system builder. It'll be a slow project, probably, but definitely worth it! Not a flashy into-your face build, but simple, yet hopefully beautiful. Let's shoot for another 10k views

Ha ha I know that feeling all to well, I'm 34 in 2 weeks time and I can't keep up with all these new "youth" abbreviations, I always end up Googleing something, for weeks I thought "YOLO" was some new band or group.

Haha, even me being 21, even I didn't understand it first... took me several months after I first heard it to understand, from a TV show :lol:

Guessing we computer nerds are too into PCs and tech that we suck at abbreviations

Aye, it means Build Log. I just put [BL] so people can see it in recent threads without it only saying 'Build Log ...'

Put the RAM in for a test spin earlier today! Unfortunately can't get the timings at 9-9-9-24 cause then I won't have an image on my screen, but I might be able to push 2133 on 9-10-9-27 timings.

The important thing is, it works perfect out of the box at 1866MHz!
