sorry if this is in the wrong section.

i love the bit phoenix prodigy case but i don't want to be limited by the itx mobo so i was wondering if any ont has any experience putting a matx mobo such as the gigabyte g1 m5 in the bit phoenix prodigy.

i think it should just about work but thought i might as well ask before i do anything.

p.s i know they're releasing a prodigy m but i don't like the way they've designed it .

thanks will

thanks for the reply ,i know they're still good but id rather have a larger board which i could use to its full potential should i ever change the case and matx is apparently a good compromise .

I think I saw a video from linus tech tips at computex that had a matx prodigy in it. Might have been a concept but keep your eyes open for it.

@ savage he did and it showed the prodigy m but im not a fan of how they've mounted the mobo or psu. i prefer they layout of the origional

You won't get a mATX board mounted in a Prodigy flat. Even with mods, that would make the case like 35cm wide which nobody would want really.

Have you looked at the Coolermaster HAF XB - that may be more appropriate for you?

There is a M-ATX Prodigy coming soon, not sure when though.

NVM didn't read the posts above

matx has max dimensions of 244mm x 244mm doesn't it? i understand it would be very tight less than 3 mm either side but it should just fit. i was just wondering if any one had any experience or knew of anyone doing this.
