BF3 Beta Opinions

but will it support PhysX or better Frostbite2 physics I hope so?.. I want crap flying of richocet! just demanding a bit more than BC2 offers, EA...?

I play it on PC and most glitches are graphical and kinda minor and i've not got stuck or fallen through the floor.
 
The error of falling through the floor Dice have known about for awhile now and the fix is already in place for the release date, it won't be fixed for this, I think this game is gonna be epic the gameplay is much smoother than bad company and for the most part the hit reg seems much better but the thing I like most is there is MUCH less LAG!! apart from the odd stutter here and there and I think wont be in the final release as servers are being slammed atm cause there aint enough. I'm really liking this so far.
 
its pretty decent so far gotta get used to keyboard layout lol as I always make my own and havent found where to do it yet so my kill/death ratio sucks lmao

To change the keyboard layout you need to spawn in game then hit escape to get into the ingame menu then you can change keybinds in there as well as graphics and such

yeah I saw it last go round but was logging out to stop lol this one cat had me so dead to right (and I was laggy as hell) but I finally turned it on him and wasted him 3-4 straight times lol

graphics are awesome so far but the jumpy play at times is crap lol but what ya expect from beta. My FPS with my 570 at stock was good as well hitting 58-60ish
 
yeah that blinding by flashlights is pissin me off lol but on the other hand it gives them away making it easier to get them

I run this game currently on my GTX 460 1GB, runs fine in Ultra in 1080p without AA.

Graphics do look amazing, but gameplay (Atleast in beta) feels just like BC2, I hate the aiming style, it's so slow even with a high DPI mouse compared to COD. Will get the game when it's out for Single Player and might play some Multi-Player but bought COD MW3 for that

I ain't noticed any of those bots yet but I have probably been killed by one.

I'm getting pretty pissed at people keep running into the other teams map and then hiding as far back as they can and killing everyone as the move towards the objectives. All people seem to be doing lately is just running towards the other teams side, no defense at the objectives at all. The flash lights don't bother me to much because it gives me something to aim at.
 
i like the lights and lasers. those army flash-lights are mega bright in reality so it's a good comparison, dunno who makes them, lensfire or summin, they're like 600+ lumens, LED's, and the lasers cool, i approve it

I've got a police standard LED LENSER torch, 200 lumen, british LED hand-held flashlight, don't shine at eyes!

BF3 is plain beautiful, i love hitting the ground and reaction time need honing if i wana do that in HC mode.

Ye graphics are limited as AA doesn't support 32xAA etc, I'm using supersampling in nVidia Control Pannel, it helps. The BETA is fun

You will Always get some nubs who have no skill, go out of their way for cheap kills. They are like aimbotters and those other vermin just gotta live with it, one of the best ways to deal with them is to take their tags peevs them right off LOL.

I hate aaimboters they are the reason I stopped playing MoH, that game seems to attract nothing but campers and hackers. I hadn't played it for at least 7 months until the other day when I decided to have a go for old times sake and nothing has changed, it is still full of A holes and you are unable to have a genuine game without getting spawn raped, aimbotted or shot by a camper.
 
The biggest problem I think is Punkbuster it does Stuff all to stop the hacks it don't really matter what you play there is some total TOOL running around with Deluxo hacks killing everything in sight or not, they really stick in my craw. The unfortunate thing is you can't do anything about it if you report them they just change their name and do it all again, and I don't agree with Ea's policy of not naming and shaming them. I recon tell the whole world what lowlifes they are.
 
It seems like there are loads of people cheating on the beta.

Mainly because there is no PB on any of the beta servers.

There are just as many headless chickens who have no idea how to play the objectives atm tho

I just hope the proper game has some good game modes as so far it seems like bfbc2, full of fraghunting noobs

The best anticheat I've seen is ESL Aequitas/Wire as it has a signed driver for layer0 detection and screenshots which get uploaded for each match.
 
The thing I cant wait for is being able to squad up with your clan as ur unable to atm as this game is much more based on team work than other installments of BF its less evolved around the run and gunners and I really like that. I think its really satisfing working for objectives with your mates rather than lone wolfing it as you cant win a war on your own.
