Hello every one :D

I have another monitor question, i now have a friend who wants THE BEST monitor for gaming regardless of the price does any one have any suggestions for him?

The idea of the monitor is to have 3 of them in a triple monitor set up and used on high fps

Many Thanks

Luke

There's no one standard best monitor, it's preference.

Look at reputable brands, 120Hz refresh rates, with as low a response time as you can get, and that's about as good as it's gonna get.

Assuming for a triple monitor setup he'll want 1080p on each, so make sure to get a monitor with thin bezels so it doesn't detract too much from the screen real estate.

That is one of the most important to me if i went with 3 monitors. It is so distracting to have such a big break between screens.

My Benq XL2411T is a great 120hz monitor with impressive specs, but there is no way I could use 3 due to the large bezel they have.

as stated before, personal preference

in my case that would be the asus VG248QE with the soonTM available g-sync upgrade kit
i'm actually trying to get my pb278q sold to get that one

At 24" it probably wouldn't be that bad as long as you overlap the edges!

Talking about bezels; beware that there is an inner bezel and an outer bezel on some screens. You can't see the inner one on the product photos.

Also, LG are notorious for PhotoSoupping the bezels. They're not even big by any means but they make them appear much thinner than they actually are.

Ive ordered the Asus Gsync monitor. And will be shipped on the 11th if all goes well. Perk for me is that if I feel its not to my satisfaction. A colleague of mine in the office will purchase it from me so I have nothing to lose.

I'm skeptical about the cost. But we live in Norway so money is money.

VG248QE non G sync - 2.4k NoK
VG248QE Gsync - 5k Nok :o
