I'm going to try and learn all I can about PCMark05 now, got a 60GB SSD and a 4870 hooked up to my DFI Lanparty Ultra-D board. Really loosing out big time in transparent windows, got my GFX ram to about 1000 pages per second and im not sure if thats good or not though. Someone else below me got 200 pages per second using the same card on the same board. Also im not sure if 85MB/s xp start up is good for a 60GB vertex 3, need to do more research. Overall happy so far, only got 6500PCmarks but more tweaking is to be done

You need two ssd in raid-0 and if you have a hd5870 it will do good.

Been spending a bit of time on that thread today, just making the most of what i've got at the moment. Can't afford to buy any new kit what so ever. Had two boards die on me today so i'm not too happy, Crosshair IV formula is now completely dead, and my rampage formula X48 randomly shut down and i have not been able to get power to it at all since. No light is being displayed now when the power supply is connected. To be sure it wasn't the power supply i have tried two others in it with the same results. Kinda pissed off now because i never got the chance to play with it

The guy i bought from did not have room for it any more so i had to go so i made him a offer and i got the unit

Only problem is that i have to bench with ear plugs now because rotary units makes quite a bit more noisy.

I've got a few high CFM fans that make a bit of a racket and it really gets on my nerves so i have to have my ipod on, but i can only imagine how loud that must be.

Hi rasmus,

Nice find SS, what Sanyo compressor is that, how many cc's.

Also if rotary compressors not run for some time very very noisy till pressure builds up and is condensed to liquid then the noise changes to a loud purring cat!!

M5G is a fun board, had mine a couple of weeks been running 2600k on it, to see if any improvement over the z68 ud5 answer none, will be getting ivy soon,

have a read from Shamino and Raja good tips and hidden bios setting shown,
