The M5G with the 3770k is performing well,1.4v at 5.0ghz.But temps even on water is high,up to 78c in 3dm06 and 3dm11.At 5.1ghz @ 1.425 windows is a little unstable,but benches can be done.Think i can get maybe 5.8ghz on dice.The 2133mhz kingston elpidas is doing well also on this mobo,2400mhz.Though not as stable as the R4E.Got to love these Asus ROG mobos,so darn well made

.Most important,my 3930k will be replaced next week,if im lucky i get a C2 5.2ghz+ chip.

I really need to organizer a day so you can try benching with Ln2

Dice won't get you far when benching with an 3770K and you definitely have the pot for it now

Would be nice to find some time to do ln2 benches,would be lovely to watch and learn from a pro in action.

And i have reconsidered 3770k on dice,maybe only 5.4ghz is doable.But that will give some nice gpu-scores,compared to a 2600k.

And i have just tested some older dominator 1600mhz 7-8-7-20-1T.Had them running 2178mhz at 9-10-9-25-1T on the M5G.Never had them running that good on other mobos.

Try with CL10 timmings and more volts.

You need at least 2400 MHz or higher to have good 2d performence.

Stayed a couple of hours after work today and made four alu case feets for my new single stage compressor.

Ø40 mm and 25 mm in height + 8 mm rubber washers to take the vibrations.

This i just one of the many things i will have to add to this Single stage unit

Room stinks of fried components atm, was running Super PI 32M on my NF7, my Athlon XP 2200+ went pop and i hadn't noticed for like 5 mins. That is such a horrible smell though, got my window open now to try and air the room :L

At least i was some old cheap hardware and not some new high end stuff

true i would be very annoyed if it was some high end stuff, was just trying to get a good K7 time for the HWBot team cup, was on for a 34min time me thinks.

Just wandering if this would be any good for Sub Zero overclocking????

Impressed how well the M5G is performing.Found the ln2-bridge

on the mobo.But had to back it down a little as im benching on dice.This little mobo craves for LN2

.Have to sleep now but still have 20kg dice to use.

Yes it was a little better in the short cpu-benches,but the longer wprime and superpi need some more voltage to be stable,maybe i can get them today.

Have to wait till computex is over and hwbot staff is back on track.

I've got a lot of K8 chips I want to bench for the Team cup, and whilst I'm benching them, ill get some scores for the rest of the benchmarks. Should be at least another 200+ TPP when I'm done, if not more. Then ill start again on my K7 chips, that should be another 100TPP again.

oh and i might be able to get hold of a A75-UD4 and a few 3870K's but that's a big maybe. But if I do, ill have a go at the AMD Vision 32M score, as well as some DDR3 overclocking.

I have this spinup-bug on my best hd5870.Have tried several things to fix it,but no luck.Maybe ill try my 2nd hd5870,maybe i can get it running 1010mhz.
