Get a 5870 instead mate - can get lots of HW boints as well as a shot at some PCMark 05 & AM3 globals too.

I already have one that does 1100 core and 1300 memory on water. I just wanted a 5850 to have some fun with a well.

HD5850 is a good cheap card for hardware points
I had two before, but didn't have the cpu to achieve a better score.

I've had three different HD5850 cards and they're all died shortly after i bought them.
And no it's not because i overclocked them to much

Mine were really odd. I had one MSI and one ASUS. Tested them both one after the other, both clocked to identical speeds, same drivers....but the MSI card would always give a better score in benches
Trying to get some cheap gpu's to bench with the 2700k. Need to get the team some points, as i havent got the team any more than 10 points a month since July
Need another 200 point jobby XD

See if you can find a HD3870 from Sapphire.
They made there own print design and it's a pretty good card for easy hardware points.

I had a 3870 a few months back. It was great for 3dmark 05 If I remember, and it beat the record for the card. However despite doing four runs producing scores within a few points of each other, the guys at Hwbot said it wasn't a real run or was run in crossfire.

Just bought a Sapphire reference HD5870 for 900 DKR a few days ago.
Have one of them.Lovely card.
Offered the seller 250£(2300dkr).That was a good price,but he deleted message on DBA,and didnt even bother to reply

Contact blindfitter from btuk, he has some good one's. last time i spoke to him he was jacking it all in.
