Dang Hyper >.<
The likes of the filth who use generators and stuff to workout keys, valid circulation keys, are usually the ones who end up getting legitimate peoples accounts yanked.
The practice is used with a high % of online games requiring keys, the practice is so wide spread that companies have to find another way of validating legitimate users.
It`s not just a case like in the past they would generate a key and go run with it, now they are testing the keys at the same time as generation to see if they`re legit b4 using them. (sometimes using code obtained from the hosts)
It`s very easy to say "well I registered it first" - but in such situations, some dood in Brazil could have register using the code whilst the one u bought was still in it`s plastic wrap.
Then u have the likes of people who work in stores and sell codes online from stock they know isn`t going to ship for a long time.
In both these cases, there has to be a way of reseting the accounts from some kind of packaging description, bar-code, whatever. But there is a very very slim chance of the game/hosters doing this as it`s both a pita and a job people have to do (more costs). The likelyhood is that the owners of the punkbusting outfit have a bit of script running, that`s about as old as they are, with 1 or 2 people overseeing it.
I can tell u 1 thing tho, from the key code on every game issued, they know which country, which shop, in which city were issued it. - now why can`t they run with that info ?
In my mind the game, as u bought it, is broken, u should atleast be able to return it to the manufs for a replacement.- seeing as u`r both legit and the cause is not down to u. U bought it for a purpose - now it doesn`t do that purpose.
Meh..
