I doubt PB will do anything, unless it becomes a massively widespread problem.

I guess they could argue that the cheater has your cdkey aswell as you, so if they were to remove the ban, they would be letting a cheater back onto the network. Which would mean the GUID would be banned again in a matter of days

What I would do tho is try to find out how your CDKey got stolen. Also find out as much about the IP as possible. Altho it probably won't turn up much tbh.

Altho I'm not sure if you can buy a new game and use it on your current account as I've never played BF2, but I notice it seems to have a big ladder etc.

I'd guess each account has a GUID attached to it tho, but then again who knows?

PB hasn't banned the GUID's for no reason.

There are 5violations which means they do a world ban. As far as they are concerned, they have done their job.

I certainly am not buying another copy.. of ANY PB enabled game.. i understand they have to do their work, this might even not be their fault but the truth is: i cant play because ive been banned by PB for doing absolutely nothing.

Im so furious with this.. it ruined my day..

One thing I will say is...

Make sure you are secure and you have scanned for spyware/rootkits/virus's etc.

As your cdkey was probably stolen via one of those.
