Battlefield 2 Demo GoGoGo !

I ahev the demo now since 5 days.

I am totally addicted to it !

We schould meet sometime and all play together.

For those guys who still dont have it but want to D-Load it :

Get Bittorent and Dload the BT link from 3dGamers (I got on that way in only 60 minutes)

I will defiantely buy the full game on the 22nd !

Yeah I've got it and played it once. It will take a bit of getting used to but I will deffo keep practising

If you're talking about the 1.01 patch then you are advised to reinstall the game without patching because of a memory leak problem:

HOTFIX for Battlefield 2 v1.01 Coming Soon

First off, a HUGE thanks to all of you who emailed me in regards to the memory leak found in the update we released earlier this week (v1.01). Your emails found their way to our production team and they’re in the process of evaluating what needs to be done in order to get this fixed. In the meantime, and since the 1.01 update is causing memory leakage on some systems, we recommend that you reinstall the game and NOT the v1.01 update we released earlier this week.

Reinstalling Battlefield 2 will not affect your in-game medals or ranked server statistics. EA and DICE are committed to getting a fix for v1.01 as soon as we possibly can and will continue to keep you informed through this web space in the coming days.

NOTE: If you installed and are running the newer server files (Win and Linux versions) we made available earlier this week, please revert those as well. We found that those files had the same issues with memory leaks as did the v1.01 update. You can download the older versions here.

I play this on an IDE drive and it goes very very slow occasionally. This is in fits and starts like lag. I notice that this happens when the HDD light is flashing like mad

I think it must be using the buffer (or whatever) from the HDD to load the data in real time and has problems.

Its a good game but you need about 3 keyboards and 2 mice to control all the options

LOL>>I started playing this game and put my Page File on my Seagate Barracuda so my Barracuda could load the page file the same time the Western Digital loaded the game. Worked quite well as drives on seperate channels can do things simotaneously.

(Kind of like RAID minus the one LARGE drive and minus the one LARGE speed increase.)
