Hi there, new to this forum but figured it would be the best place to ask.
I own a TOSHIBA P755-12N notebook which recently went through a failure of the SATA controller, so I sent it in for repairs and they replaced the motherboard.
Now my LED backlight for my keyboard is not working, is this because they replaced the motherboard or a software problem? (I recently upgraded to Win8prox64 without using the TOSHIBA upgrade assistant)
The reason I think it could be a SW problem is because I use FN+Z to toggle the backlights, and since the upgrade all the FN hotkeys have been shuffled around.
I've tried all the keys.
Do you think that they didn't connect the seperate connector for the backlight once they replaced the M/Board? Can I do this without voiding my warranty?
I'd really appreciate some help, and I hope I posted in the right section.
(It is probably to do with M/Board)
