Attaching pump to res

Right still in the major planning phase for my build, can I attach my laing ddc pump to my 250 tube res using a male to male fitting leaving the pump in mid air so to speak being supported by the res that is mounted to the case?

Im assuming you mean the pump supported by the res but youve not really given enough details tbh.

Basically pump supported in mid air by mounted tube res using male to male fitting

Depends how the res is mounted mate and if it can support the weight.

Hence the 'probably'

It's an alphacool cape corp with 2 quite solid clip in mounts. I'm trying to figure out a way to mount my pump and keep the 5.25" hard drive mount in the bottom for my storage drive.
