Yeah i noticed this too when i went on their website a few minutes ago. I love the idea on the Sabertooth of fans cooling the VRM's, that's an awesome idea. Also like the USB Bios flashback feature, pretty handy. Might pick up a Sabertooth in the future, looks like a cracking board.

I'd buy a Sabertooth, but it doesn't fit in with the colour scheme of my build. Its tough to make a military themed build without it looking tacky. If it was all black/grey I'd be all over it like a donkey on a waffle.

I'm expecting a hammering for this, but surely it would be possible (and warranty invalidating) to take the armour off the sabretooth and get creative with it?

Could get it to match pretty much any colour scheme you wanted then and I'm sure someone is going to go down the Camouflage route at some point, I would give it a good go if I had the cash and patience. I think it could look awesome with a winter/urban cam scheme (white/grey/blue)

I have my eyes on the Gigabyte Sniper 3 though, I just hope it's not going to be to expensive.

Yeah the sabertooth looks really cool, and like you say they should have made a different solution instead of that fan.

Looks like Gigabyte finaly have got ridd of the weapon heatsinks. Nice board aswell

As I said before, if the aesthetics of the Sabertooth were less prohibiting in terms of what colour scheme it can go with I'd get one, but I'm more than likely going for an MSI board, the new ones look really, really good. If the UD5 looked like the Z68 ones, all black etc. I'd think about one of those too, the new heatsinks look guff in my opinion.

You can most likely remove the fan and armour.

I love the Sabertooth, you can actually put 2 50mm fans one on the top and then one where the I/O panel is. I just wish it have a Creative X-FI sound card built into it. I know some of the new mobo's will have one built it.
