Asus Xonar DX & Creative Gigaworks T40 Series II

Hi guys,

My friend just upgraded his Asus Xonar DX to a Auzentech Meridian and he gave me his Xonar DX. I had it set up, and everything sounds really good initially, but I still have a problem with having too much bass. Even after turning my T40 SII's bass to 0, I still have way too much.

Does anyone here have any experience with the Xonar DX audio center, and know how to fine tune the bass? Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks for that, but I was hoping to see if anyone would have any experience with fine tuning EQ/FlexBass and other options. Right now, I've just used the preset Rock EQ setting and turned the dials on my T40 SII's back to the neutral states. The Rock EQ preset was the only setting there that was able to more or less even out the heavy bass and mid/highs. I would have thought that having no settings at all with this sound card would be best, but it wasn't the case.

Well it's whole a lot better than the Creative X-Fi Surround 5.1 USB sound adapter that I was using just before.

So, any ideas?
