Asus PB287Q 4K for 2K display

I would like to ask what is refresh rate for Asus PB287Q in 2K (1440p)?

Maybe the question looks silly, - who need 1440p and buying 4K panel? ... it is not that silly cause I'm building system with GTX1070 which is perfect to run 1440p and may upgrade in the future to x2 SLI (which is way more then enough to run 4K at 60Hz)
I just don't wont to stuck with monitor which can only do 60FPS on any resolution without OC.

Does anybody who owns PB287Q and some decent GPU could check for me FPS in 2K please?
Thanks!

The PB287Q remains at 60hz for every resolution step. At least thats what I recall. Havent had one for quite some time.

The 970 does pretty well with games at 1440p, though personally I generally feel it is more of a 1080p GPU. Mind your vRam usage and you wont have any issues at 1440p, it delivers solid FPS at medium to high settings.

Don't bother getting a 4k display. Get a 1440p one and then DSR to get 4k. SLi is not a good idea now, I would wait and see how it pans out.

1440p is where it's at right now. 60Hz is perfectly playable and 1070 SLI is affordable, but being able to crank the settings in any game and still maintain well above 60 FPS on a 144Hz panel is so much more satisfying and practical in my opinion. The 24" 1440p monitors, though few, are so close to a bigger 4k panel in terms of pixel density that it almost nullifies 4k entirely. I still think we're a good two years away from 4k being commonplace and practical. Some software still doesn't look right with it, the only GPU's that can realistically run it are expensive, and 60Hz is just not acceptable if you're used to higher frame rates.
