I've been having random overclocking failures lately with my Mobo. im running i7 @ 3.8 with Titan fenrir and 6gb of viper. my cpu voltage is at 1.25, currently, and QPI voltage at 1.24. Now, I dont recall exactly when the overclocking failure occured but it was after 3 days of running a Prime95 torture test for 8 hours and gaming for another 3 more hours. at that day the CPU voltage was 1.246, and what I thought it was because of the undervoltage so I raised it to 1.25. after two to three weeks, that is yesterday, I installed an imcompatible firewall with Windows 7 and the BSOD appeared. Right after the restart the same message appeared saying overclocking failed press F1 bla bla bla.
I'm not sure what the problem is but my system survived the 8 hours prime test and suddenly after 3 days I get an overclocking failure. Could someone explain or enlighten and if there is a solution i'll greatly appreciate it!
