Gah, sorry PV. Is this 800x600 rule new or something, or am I just being a tard..

Probably the latter :p

It's not a totally new concept, but I am keen to get all pics below 800 x 600 just for ease of viewing tbh

It's just bloody annoying to have to scroll around (I browse in half screen) just cause someone hasn't resized em small enough

If you could do that lads (and lasses) I would appreciate it muchly :)

Got a few pics of my holidays to add to this thread. Spent a wicked 5 days in Santa Ponza, Mallorca . These are pics out of the apartment:

These were not done on the camera phone btw :p. I took our 4 Megapixel camera out with us which tbh I thought was crap, but am impressed with the results so may start getting used to it and actually using it more :)

Yeah I took about 40 pictures (started having problems with the batteries, otherwise I'd have taken more) and those were the best ones. I'm a bit gutted I didn't take a good one of the beach as that was the best part!

good effort on those pics!

can have a bit more improvment.....

ISO - fixed

shutter - slower

manual focus, deeper DOF needed.

too much objects in pics, not enough to show what you want us to see, should aim for just sky or 80% building 20% sky.

look forward to more piccys from here!

aye, there's hundreds in bridlington :(

they nest on my roof, and occasionally fight, while i'm trying to sleep

i sleep on the top floor, and its only a thin, flat, roof, so its anoying....

:(

Hey Ionicle, the pics really should be 800x600 as of forum policy. Make sure you get them sized down when you can.

the anoying thing is that photobucket automatically resizes big pic's into 1024x768, which to me is the perfect size for forums,

and there is a ***56k*** in the title, so people on 56k can avoid it anyway...

but i guess so :(

Couple of my new ones, not hugely interesting but still experimenting tbh.

Two of the missus family's dog :)

And one of a bee I managed to catch. Got a few of it but this was the best I think.

Not done anything to them apart from crop and stick me name on em :)

Aye the little bugger wouldn't stop moving and I didn't have time to adjust to the setting I wanted.

Must get me a good tripod. If anyone can recommend me one that won't kill my bank balance I would appreciate it :)

EDIT: How about this one:
