Anyone using it currently? Wat da ya think? I'm planning to buy this mobo to upgrade to AMD64 from my old AthlonXP. Opinions welcome. :)

It's not that problem. Budget is the constraint. I still have my 6600GT AGP and am not planning to upgrade to PCI-E yet. Is the board that bad?

Anyone knows where to see the overclocking guide using this particular board? So far from what I got, it's only the result of the o/c. Or may be one of you has experiences in o/c-ing this mobo? :yumyum:
 
it shouldnt be any different from other motherboards bud.

FSB, HTT, vcore etc etc

tel us if you run into ne probs
 
Like mr. dave said it's just like ocing any other board... Adjust fsb, voltage, multi, ram timings, etc.

Overclocking isn't mobo specific.

I'm sure this combo is out there. The board looks to be a very good overclocker, and the Opty's are just plain nuts anyhow.

I reckon you should be able to smoke some benchies with that setup!

I should have this rig up by monday/tuesday next week, l got a raptor :worship: 74gp to go with it - just need better ram now but money is getting tight ..

Reason for delay in building system Is I Live in Spain so takes a while :( for things to get to me (tho in the UK at the moment).
 
Gratz mate, those should suit you very well... and Raptors do indeed layith down teh spank :) Good choice!

Post up pix and benchies, etc when you get it all in and installed!

Deffo need to get ahold of some good ram so you can unleash the wraith of Opteron :D
 
There is me new Baby http://img206.imageshack.us/my.php?image=untitled5pj.jpg had it up bout 2 days now (no raptors as they did not arrive so cancelled, got it running at about 2450 witout even trying but all back to stock now for a while.

One big thing I noticed playing cod2 I am always the firdt on any new map even tho I normaly by far have the worst ping. (and thats on stock)

Any one know where I can pick up 2 x 1gig memory cheapish thats good for O/C ..and games ..Im new at O/C and pc building as this is my firsst :)
