Title says it anyone ever used the website videocardshop?

want to buy something never heard of them before, in particular whats their returns like the last GPU i bought died after 6 months and the shop refused everything and its now a pretty looking paperweight i want a company that honours warranties etc

Some customer reviews are shaky at best, but scamadviser seem pretty ok with them......

Compare the prices to Google Shopping and Aria, if the difference is minimal, go with what you know and trust

I have used them before. BAD experience.

I bought a 'graded' GTX 280 XFX. Apparently Videocardshop get lots of 'graded' cards from XFX.

What I didn't realise at the time was that 'graded' meant baked. Hence my reflowed baked card did the usual and failed about 3 months in. I contacted Videocardshop who told me to send the card back so I did. Bear in mind I paid £185 for it.

After about two weeks I cracked and contacted them. In the mean time I had bought a Radeon 5770 and wanted another to go Crossfire so I requested a credit note from Videocardshop. In the end he started stalling and delaying and I ended up just getting a 5770 that was only worth £115.

TBH XFX are one of the worst companies when it comes to RMA and Videocardshop are in cahoots with them so I would avoid. It's only one dude running the entire place and he's not so good when it comes to customer service.

You're far better off going elsewhere tbh, as XFX won't deal with you and, well, you've seen the outcome of his customer service.
