any one use skullcandy headphones?

LOLZ yeah sounds typical Senn. Look on Play for Skullcandy. They got a good few sets on sale. They also have some for £400

I got the hd555 plenty of bass

depends whats powering them tho, my cowon j3 luckily has enough to power them

The eclipse ones look like the ones that sit on your ears. I absolutely can not wear those as they press on the cartilage of my ears and my ears hurt like hell after about twenty minutes. Have to be full cover for me.

Some of those look really sexy though

I got some Bose qc15 and very satisfied, And Bose makes great headphones, may not look as "cool" as the skull candys, which I think your paying for the looks, not the sound, i Dont know your budget.

but a senheiser will probably get much better sound compared to the skull candy

Koss isn't a bad brand, I have a pair of earbuds. I like their limited lifetime warranty. =) actually cashed in on it recently. Airplane trip messed up a bud.

Bose are a rip off.

Anything and everything they make is a complete and utter rip off. If you would like an explanation as to why then please ask.

yer BOSE do suck

i heard one of there 'top end' 5.1 systems and they sucked same as that leon or liton i cant remember the name

I wouldn't say they suck per se. Just that the matierials used to make them are pretty poor and they're amazingly over priced for what you actually get.

Used to have some SC Hesh headphones...utterly poo...they were sooooo tinny in quality and lacked depth. However gf bought me some Dr. Dre beat solo HD's...AMAZING phones. XD

, But i do realise Senheiser, and other brands is more bang for buck, and worth looking for,

think you should go for some senheiser, but thats what i think.

I can confirm this. I used to have some Koss earbuds (still technically do) and they had a HUGE amount of bass in them for such small buds. The quality on them was sick, and it only cost me about $20 US, which is fairly cheap compared to the other "quality" earbuds out there that cost $30+ I would still be using them to this day if the foam inside the earbuds (helps to dampen the sound of the tiny speakers to where it doesn't damage your ears) didn't fall out and get lost. I had them for about a year and a half before that happened.

To compare, after that little incident happened, I got some Sony earbuds for around $30, they sounded good, but not as good as the Koss, and the left bud went out after less than a year.

But yeah, try looking at Koss. If their mainstream products (like their earbuds) are so good, then I can only imagine how their high quality, audiophile catered, stuff is.

you might actually find that gaming orientated headphones are actually really good for music and everything else for that matter,i can recommend the creative fatality headset, nice sound and very nice bass, comfortable and with removable mic too and they can be had for silly cheap thes days too..

i wouldnt go near skullcandy with the worlds longest barge pole

,stick to main brands,AT,creative, sennheiser, sony, koss etc theres quite a few.

I'd love a pair of these or the HD595s, so a normal soundcard is not enough to drive these babys?

What about a soundcard and a small portable amp?
