Are these fully Seasonic OEM? Or running off Seasonic base designs like previous Antec units?

I quite like the design - a little reminiscent of some of the XFX units. Could also be handy having the power switch on the inside (at least I'm assuming that's what that is!).

In terms of the internals, I don't know yet. That is a switch for the a white LED in the fan.

Very cool! Antec is really bringing it with their new power supplies. Especially love the Delta built HCP Platinum offerings. Really want to pull the trigger on that 850 watt model.

The new antec is just unly. even my antec tp-550 from march 2009 looks better than the new one in my opinion

I like how "Cool design" is listed as one of the features :lol:

Tbh though, they're not wrong. It's not what I'd consider cool, but it's certainly not a bad looking unit and with Seasonic as the OEM it should be pretty good.

Aren't antec coming out with a 1300w platinum psu as well? should be interesting . My antec psu has outlasted two computers so I quite like them personally ^_^

The 1300w is already out... we had the first batch in December, all sold out in Europe, more stock lands next week, and yeah the 1300w is made by Delta, so it's amazing quality.

Not my cup of tea, but not as bad as some of you guys are letting on, I just don't really like the rubberized front and back of the unit.

That being said i do like how the Antec logo is the right way up, too many PSUs manufacturers have done it wrong in the past.

The logo should be the right way up if you are facing the PSUs fan at the bottom or top. Thumbs up there.

I don't think it's ugly. Yeah its not the coolest looking PSU I've seen but it looks fine to me. Reminds me of XFX a little actually.

Who thought it would be a good idea to vent the warm air out the sides and back in to your case rather than all of it out the rear of the psu?

As ShaunB-91 noted, those visible cables are a sin.

Sort of reminds me of a 1960's mono radio
