anime anyone?

There are plenty of shows out there worth watching. Full Metal Alchemist was very popular (if you haven't seen it yet). Fate Stay/Night is good (action drama type). If you end up enjoying Air, Kanon (2006 version) is done by the same animation company and extremely well done (many, myself included, consider it to be better than Air). The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is worth watching as well

Only the 1st edition holographic. I have one and long story but its screwed to my wall hehe with a 1st edition holo Venasaur and 1st edition holo Blastoise.

Only if they where the old ones. Once the 1st movie came out they where giving them away. ONly problem was most where fake though. I have a real one. Yes, i still have my whole deck put together haha. I even attended the Toys R' Us Pokemon Leage and got some badges. Idk where they are though

ermmmmmm...............i like the ones where people are beating/slashing up each other for weird reasons......LOL

i've watched...airgear, blood+, gundam(all, and too many!), dragon ball, GTO.....and lots more others......im still watching Naruto, Death Note, Bleach and D.Gray-man tho......havent had much time looking for more, but would like to get them and watch later.

havent seen chobits tho.....and manga wise...too lazy for that, lol

naruto was a manga..

chobits is a manga turned into a series but from what you said you probably wouldnt like it cause theres no slashing/fighting really,quite the opposite actually.

you could check out cardcaptor and love hina.

i am getting both of those right now,they look decent.

FF was more like a CG film...rather than a anime...as meaning its fake, looks like crap in some peoples eyes, but can do things thats amazingly weird, lol

if all anime was made in CG, it'll take months for one episode.....rather than 1 week....shame....or eles it'll look wicked!

Raging - yeah, i do read a bit of manga, but that was a few years back, but for unknown reasons i gave up, even tho they are much more update and detailed.....i just gave up!

i like Ghost in the Shell 1 + 2 plus Ghost in the shell stand alone complex, Animatrix set of shorts, elfen lied, evangelion and other various ones i can't remember but have seen a few of.

I watched Metropolis last night and it seemed ok, altho the story line was almost exactly the same as Akira

I got Ghost in the shell 1+2 aswell, so will prob watch those in the weekend.

Was a bit dissapointed with Metropolis really tho (altho it was still a good film) Akira is so much better tbh.

Not a fan of Metropolis tbh, and yeah Akira is an absolute classic.

Ghost in the shell is a great film too, I wasn't too enamoured with the sequel though. I'm currently watching the new series of the guyver, still not sure about it. I think I still prefer the OVA from the early nineties.

I managed to get one of my friends into anime (she used to tell me how pathetic it was). One Miyazaki film and she was hooked!

I used to love manga stuff, actually i still would if I knew what was good!

Akira, ghost in the shell, street fighter, ad police, blood the last vamp... I watched some recently about a samuri who smelt of sunflowers???

If you could recommend some that is futuristic and has big mechs blowing the

out of eachother/things or ones with cool ninja fighters/samuri that would be sweet.

Storyline must be strong, I like the animation to be well, like ghost in the shell or blood - that is crisp! ... I seem to remember stopping watching it because I found i didnt like most of it...

Must be high standard of animation, some of the stuff I got was gash and deleted... So I guess that rules out old tv shows and the likes...

Look forward to looking up some stuff!

Miyazaki the director, as in spirited away, howl's moving castel, Princess Mononoke etc. Awesome films and laputa (castle in teh sky) is the reason I got into anime.

If you could recommend some that is futuristic and has big mechs blowing the

out of eachother/things or ones with cool ninja fighters/samuri that would be sweet.

Some obvious ones I can think of are the new appleseed (absolutely incredible), patlabor is fantastic (the sequel was ok but not as good). I also really liked neon genesis evangelion and rahXephon, not sure if they're for everyone though.

lol - some of it is totally awful but some is pretty amazing.

To completely write off a whole genre as 'awkward animation' is ignorant tbh.
