Hi Guys......Ok as you probally aware, am in my very early stages of building me monster rig....My first initial task whic I want to acomplish is deciding which case I would like to use.

Ok....I have gone one step further. at first I wanted to mod the Obsiddion 800d, and put a triple loopping water cooling system. But I just recently case across these UFO cases from Mountain Blog or something, and thought these cases look like a beast. I was thinking to integrate one of these cases with fibre glass, and a mixture of carbon fibre on one off these UFO cases. So basically builing a a cse from scratch but using the UFO case and mod the hell out of it.

What do you think guys? I like my dreams to come true, and this beast of mine will certainly come alive with a mixture of carbon fibre and fibre glass.

Thankx guys.....Ify

So.... are you cladding a MM case in fibre glass & carbon fibre or are you actually planning a scratch case?

And what your looking to say is Mountain Mods =)

Which one's the awesome idea? Mountain Mods make some nice cases, and although they're highly moddable and customisable, perhaps it would be better to design your own using the materials you mentioned rather than attempting to better what is already a pretty nice case design. Do something original perhaps. I can't see what direction you could go in from the UFO case with those materials without making it extremely large and garish. I think how much you do will probably depend on your skills as a modder (or indeed whoever you pay to do so) and the budget. Just my two cents.

Thankx Alex for the advice......will take that on aboard.I did have a look at some of the cases on offer by those UFO ones.....they are huge arent they? Would you say they are very heavy to lift one of those cases?

After browsing their website,I was preety astonsed how huge their cases look. Still now deciding whether to build a case from scrach, or to buy one of those UFO cases, which I must say they look apsolutly amazing. One thing I need to ask. If you want a triple water cooling system, does that mean you need three radiators, three pumps etc.

Thankx Meh

Ello fella sorry Ive not replied before, Ive had a crazy few days in London and only just got back home.

Your never going to get 3 loops in an Obsidian with out it looking daft.

The Mountain Mods side of this is different, you can get the rigs that will take the kit but they are very difficult to get them looking tidy. Your ideas about fibre glass ect would very much need to be a personal project because I dont see anyone taking that kind of work on. It would be very labour intensive and I think you would end up paying someone a small fortune to do it.

Thankx buddy

Thnakx tom for the advice. Just a curisoity, have you done any mountain mod cases projects in the past, and are you willing to do one more?

Cheers Tom

I had one myself for a while. With your fibre glass ideas ect I dont think its the right look for TTL tbh matey. That and the fact the ammount of time it would take to do it right would cost you a small fortune in hourly rates alone let alone materials ect.
