Pyro nice going mate.... I have my classified hooked up atm with my cascade but will set up the amd rig again at the weekend. my brief tests a few days ago only saw 3d06 benchable at 3.8 but im sure there is more in it.

im currently scouring google for info on the cpu and board, so lets just say im doing some research:yumyum:

Hmm... it's not great though.

It runs at 3.8 real easy but I was having a play around with the software.

AMD Overdrive is certainly the best software tweaking app I've used to date. It's very stable and actually quite handy for making minor tweaks to get every little 3DMark out of that CPU

Well I've got a few hours in over the last week (around 100 06 attempts). And so far I'd liken the experience to running into a brick wall. The 940s ridiculously easy to OC up to a point, and then it just refuses to take any significant further steps.

Been playing around with out the X2 just getting to know the CPU and board, using an old 7800GT to try and push the CPU score on 06 as high as possible. Don't wanna give too much away as yet but it's looking promising.

We've got plenty of hardware pics now so I'll just show you mine set up with the weak GPU installed.

You could of course run some ducting from your fridge to the fan on the heatsink

I would'nt think a virtual ram drive will help much with 3d06 tbh, a vrd might help slightly with data transfer i.e pcmark and the like but 3dmark benches are about cpu and vga so a ram drive in theory would have no effect?

BUT! I would love someone to prove me wrong

comparisin tests etc.

I will also try this myself. I know for a fact that 'iram' for example has no effect whatsoever on 3dmark scores.
