I'm surprised so many here fail to appreciate the questions AMD are raising. I think it's smart. It's by no means without flaws, and I'd prefer it done differently, but if Vega is a product that falls behind a 1080Ti in every, which we all predict it will, AMD is raising the question, so what? Are we as gamers that tied to the numbers that we can't see gaming for what it is, a fun and immersive experience. If Vega delivers that, what's the problem with it being behind the competition?
Again, that is flawed logic and I'd rather they just released a competitive product and compared it in a competitive manner, but it has merits and I'm surprised so few of you are able to grasp that. I think Nvidia have spoiled a lot of you. You're all demanding the competition follow Nvidia when maybe AMD have different plans. If they don't fit in with your plans, that's up to you. For me, I respect what AMD are doing here. I'd respect them a lot more if they just gave us the right card at the right time, but I'm not so stuck in my ways that I can't see past a graph with a bunch of numbers.
