AMD cpu help

Hi fellas, building a AMD gaming rig for a friend of mine. He wants to use a good quad core since he will only be using this rig for gaming. he has a budget of around $100 for his CPU. like to get your advice, since I am not familiar with AMD cpu's. Ive been looking at these two but am not sure on which is the better one any help would be appreciated.

ps: He will be using this board MSI 790XT-G45

stay away from the original phenoms mate.

yup I have a phenom !! X4 925 and love it so far

The 920 is a better processer. Faster clock speed + more cache.
