Do the Zalmans in the OP's first post have a built-in mic, if so is it any good?

They've got a clip on mic which is pretty decent. I got mine for £22 - can't complain!

Meh @ clip-on mics... I have a creative boom mic on my desk that has really good sound reproduction, guess i'd probably just stick with that if I'm using a headset. It's annoying using it with speakers though because of the nasty feedback others get.

Another vote for 5.1s being usful as in CS. Ive used llwyds. And playing againsed Llwyd/Jiffz/Dave/Kemp i know i have to be as quiet as possible as they have the advantage, and it DOES show.

And I'm using Plantronics Gamecom 1, they are really good I think, manage to own harrythepot at CSS using these!

I have an IceMat Audio White Siberia.

Brilliant headset, suede earphone padding and extremely light.. also came with a monitor clip on microphone.
