Alphacool VPP 655 problem.

So I got all my watercooling parts today, and I put it together, filled the system up, and when I was gonna start, the pump didn't work.

In the watercooling loop I got a phobya 360 radiator, koolance 370 cpu block, koolance VID-AR797 vga block, Alphacool VPP 655 pump, and a Alphacool repack dual bayres.

The pump is alphacool's version off the D5.

The loop goes like this: From the bay res, down to the pump in the bottom of the case, the up to the vga card block, then to the cpu block, then to the radiator in the roof off the case, then back to the bay res.

The pump is mounted to the floor using double sided tape.

Does anyone have an idea what could have caused this, or was the pump just DOA?

did the pump ever work from the start? your loop order wouldnt have killed it if thats what your asking, just sounds like a faulty pump that never worked.

I would agree with the above, if you never had the pump working I would suggest the unit was faulty and it was DOA.

No, it did not work from the start.

This really sucks, looks like I wont be able to use my gaming computer for about 2weeks

I managed to figure out what was wrong with my pump.

Apparently the pump is touching the top, so the pump is kinda stuck, making the pump not pump any water.

Should I send in the whole pump+top, or just the top?
